THE PRINCIPLE BY WHICH FAMA IS GOVERNED IS THE CONCEPT OF HONESTY

For us, people are at the centre of everything, from our workers to our customers, passing through all the people affected by our activity.

We have a Corporate Responsibility Decalogue where we summarise our philosophy and commitments in just 10 points. In addition to the Environment, we also take care of people, we firmly support conciliation and equality, we support culture and sports, and we are committed to training as a key element for improving the future.

We try not only to be a company whose objective is economic profitability, our clear objective is to contribute our grain of sand to society and its improvement. We take Corporate Social Responsibility seriously, unlike it normally happens that is just empty propaganda.

We adapt to changes, trying to improve what is in our hands.

The best example of this can be seen on the change we made when the state of alarm began in March 2020 due to Covid19. We were forced to stop our normal activity as sofas and armchairs manufacturers, and, given the shortage of sanitary material at the beginning of this health crisis, we started producing face masks and other protection elements.

In a matter of hours, at the request of the Murcian Health Service, we were able to transform our production system and began to design masks, gowns, aprons, hoods and leggings adapted to our manufacturing methods. We obtained the validation of these prototypes and the next day we were already manufacturing large quantities of these protection elements.

Other companies in Yecla joined this initiative and, in a matter of days, we had manufactured and dispatched thousands of masks to hundreds of hospitals, residences, police forces, pharmacies, supermarkets, clinics and a multitude of companies that requested them.
