Planet chairs is a new collection of chairs based on two very important pillars. The first is the design and the large number of options it offers, and the second is the ergonomic solution it provides, perhaps the most comfortable chair we have ever seen.

If with Mili&Lalo and Ginger&Fred we learned to give our living rooms a different touch by using a different fabric on each chair, this time we thought: what if we create a chair with different backrests that can be combined with each other?

This is how the Planet Chairs collection was born, 4 types of seats available with metal rod bases or metal legs, and 10 different backrest designs that offer us infinite combinations.

We have developed an innovation that consists of a system equipped with a joint in the backrest to allow the backrest to rotate with the user’s movement and adapt to the position of the back.

Mars is an elegant and very comfortable chair design, perfect for any living room or dining room. It is inspired by the Planet Chairs collection, but in this case, the structure is made of beech wood, which gives it a more conventional style, but original at the same time.

Ergonomic Comfort

We present an important innovation, hidden behind these chairs’ backs, that provides an amazing comfort not known so far. We explain it following these lines.

We have developed a chair that offers perfect ergonomic comfort while we are eating, supporting the back perfectly, but also allows us to achieve a slightly reclined position for the table talk without endangering the integrity of the user or the construction of the chair.

To achieve this goal, we have designed a backrest with a slightly curved shape that holds our back in a natural and ergonomic way.

Thus, when the user sits completely upright, the backrest obtains a perfectly straight position that fully supports the user’s back. And when we prefer a more relaxed position, (drinking coffee or after a meal), just by moving the sitting position forward a few centimetres, the backrest accompanies our back until we achieve an inclination close to 30 degrees, thanks to its curved shape and the rotation with retention. We have already requested a patent for this invention.
