Nemesis is a chair born from a design project where we set out to create a new type of multifunctional chair for hotels.
We’re all familiar with the typical stackable chairs seen in many hotels: their design is quite simple but very functional, as they are lightweight and stackable.
We aimed to create a chair suitable for all kinds of uses: dining, cafés, hotel rooms, meeting rooms, and even conference halls. In addition to being stackable, it needed to be easy to move and allow for hanging a bag (something that’s imposible with some chairs). They also had to be linkable in rows to form conference seating arrangements and, of course, have a modern design with superior comfort.
The backrest design features a rod that serves as a handle for moving the chair, and its slight tilt allows for two seating options: sitting upright for dining or reclining slightly for conversation or coffee. With a simple connecting piece, these chairs can be easily and quickly aligned in rows.
We’ve met all these requirements, and the result is Nemesis. Don’t miss out on trying it!
