Recognition to Fama at the Revolution Awards.

BBVA together with the School of Economics from the University of Valencia have launched the first edition of the Revolution Awards, which seek to recognise the work of innovative and sustainable SMEs in the Region of Murcia, the Balearic Islands and the Valencian Community. On this occasion, Fama Sofas has obtained the prize corresponding to the Region of Murcia, while the Efficient Engineering Studies 2009 and Intelligent Conflict Management have been awarded in the Balearic Islands and the Valencian Community. "All of them are an example of profitable companies that respect the environment and, at the same time, achieve a positive impact on society."

In our case, the jury highlighted Fama Sofas for our “clear commitment to digitisation and proof of the business benefits derived from it; its good work in sustainability both in design and recycling and its social action: nursery, playroom, flexible schedule”. “It is a company that has shown great resilience. They have been able to overcome the competition from other countries thanks to digital transformation and sustainable management in a very mature sector.”

In the words of the jury, “Fama Sofas is a national benchmark in innovation, not only because of the type and number of innovations it carries out every day, but especially because of its social, economic and environmental impact. The combination of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), ICT and productive technologies is revolutionary”.

From Fama we feel very proud both for the recognition, and for the large number of factors on which the jury has focused.

This contest was born with the impulse of BBVA, in collaboration with the School of Economics from the University of Valencia. Its objective is to recognise those small and medium-sized companies that promote innovation, at a time when society is facing major global challenges such as climate change, digital transformation and the fight against inequalities.

The jury, formed by members of great reputation in the academic and business world, has valued in the winners that their technological transformation process involves inclusive business processes and models and that, through this transformation, they have also improved their scores of competitiveness.

The awards ceremony will take place on May 9 in the Auditorium of the University of Valencia. A spectacular Historic Building that is only used for very important events. Having received this award is a great satisfaction for our company, and it gives us strength to continue improving and innovating every day.
