New book with the collaboration of Fama.
Fama collaborated with the publication of a charitable book called “Todas cuentan, 24 cuentos ilustrados sobre mujeres yeclanas” (“Every women counts, 24 illustrated stories about women from Yecla”), which is written by Marta López Juan.
This lovely project consists in 24 illustrated stories. Each story has a different main female character from Yecla. These women are writers, artists, politicians, teachers, entrepreneurs from different ages.
22 illustrators from Yecla have collaborated in this project as well. They have made the portrait of each story’s main character.
The funds raised will be donated to AYAC, an Assosiation of Cancer stricken people from Yecla, thank to Fama, which has done its bit by collaborating in printing out the book.
In addition, two Fama workers have taken part in the book. One of them is Mariangeles Polo, who is the main character of one of the 24 stories because of her constant self-improvement. The other participant is Mate Puche, who is the illustrator of the story about the first female mayor, Cristina Soriano.
