Indy, the new Fama sofa bed, was awarded with the prize to the most innovative design at the Esprit Meuble Show held in Paris last week.

During the last edition of Esprit Meuble Paris, Indy, the new Fama sofa bed was awarded as the most innovative design among all the models presented at the show.
The prize giving ceremony took place at the Moulin Rouge in Paris, where a small representation of the Fama Team collected the award; Felix Lopez, as General Manager and Designer, Mariangeles Ferrero, as Export Manager and Sylvie Sanchez, as the person responsible for the French Market, attended the event.
Indy had a big impact among all our visitors during the exhibition, and it did not go unnoticed by the members of the Design Jury either. Starting from a very simple idea, but with a very complicated technological background, after more than 18 months of hard work and various failed tests, we have achieved the final result, which will offer a smart solution for people who look for a nice and comfortable sofa bed which can be converted into a bed in a very easy and simple way.
It seemed almost impossible to create a new type of sofa bed, but it looks like we have succeeded. Indy is really comfortable as a sofa and easily becomes an amazing 140cm x 200cm bed. In addition to this, the smart design of the motorised backrest system allows you to adjust the depth of the sofa and the position of the back, and it can be used as a recliner sofa for 4 people.
We are proud to launch Indy into the sofa beds market. A new era in the world of sofa beds has just begun.
