Fama will present its new fabric collection at the Valencia Hábitat Fair 2022
Fama presents the new MUSEUM COLLECTION. Our aim is to bring homes a different way of enjoying art, with two new collections of very special printed fabrics based on the work of two renowned artists: “Arty Edition”, by Jose Azorín, and “Imaginary Edition”, by Brianda Fitz-James Stuart. Both collections will be present in the Fama stand at the Valencia Hábitat Fair 2022. In addition, 'Arty Edition' will return as an art exhibition in the central halls of the Valencia Fair, so attendees will be able to see the large-size works alongside to the upholstered armchairs with the twelve designs included in this collection.
Arty Edition is a collection of drawings inspired by some of the greatest pictorial works of all times (‘Las Meninas’ by Velázquez, ‘El Guernica’ by Picasso, ‘The Garden of Earthly Delights’ by El Bosco, etc.), as well as others inspired by different vanguards of art and design (Bauhaus, Dada, etc.), all of them captured by the artist José Azorín, in collaboration with the Fama design team. The main idea underlying this collection is our intention to bring art closer to homes and turn it into something dynamic and alive, so that everyone can enjoy it at home.
In addition, we also present the Imaginary Edition, a series of figurative images that evoke a dream world imagined by the illustrator Brianda Fitz-James Stuart. The images that make up this collection evoke the esoterism that surrounds tarot cards, combined with the inspiration that underlies the artist’s travels. A set of works of great colour and clean brushstrokes with a very personal touch.
Based on Brianda’s designs, and to complement the collection, we have also created the Imaginary Jacquard collection. The patterns are details extracted from her works, with a construction full of textures and colour. For the design of these fabrics we have taken elements that catch our attention from Brianda’s illustrations, using them to create a series of prints that can be combined with the illustrations they come from, and, at the same time, they have their own personality to create an independent collection.
Visit us from September 20th to 23rd at stand C46, Hall 3 at Hábitat Valencia and in the central halls with the "Arty Edition" exhibition.
