Fama renews its "Zero Waste Certification".

03/07/2023

Fama has just received the renewal of the "Zero Waste Certification" after undergoing an audit by AENOR, where all the data from 2022 was analysed. This Zero Waste certification guarantees that over 90% of the industrial waste generated by a company is valorised, ensuring a second useful life and preventing it from ending up in a landfill.

For the second consecutive year, Fama has achieved a rate of over 99.92% of valorised waste, meaning that the industrial waste generated will have a second useful life, thus avoiding landfill disposal.

The remaining 0.08% is managed by waste treatment companies to ensure proper disposal, primarily including ink residues and sandpaper waste.

These figures confirm the strong commitment Fama has to environmental care and the reduction of waste generated in all their industrial processes. The ISO 14001 environmental certification, the Zero Waste certification, along with the Carbon Footprint certificate, add to the list of daily actions carried out at Fama to continue reducing the potential impact on the environment.
