Fama collaborates with Accem

Coinciding with World Refugee Day, the Tapies building has been inaugurated in Murcia, which is going to be destined to receive refugees from the emergency in Ukraine. The Murcia City Council has assigned the building to Accem, an NGO that works to improve the living conditions of people in situations of vulnerability.

Fama has collaborated with the furnishing of sofas, chairs and tables for the 21 apartments with which the building has been adapted, which we hope will make the stay of the refugees more bearable.

We often hear about refugees and it seems that it is something far away that always happens to other people. In the case of the invasion of Ukraine (within Europe) it has helped us to see this tragedy up close. We just have to put ourselves in their shoes to try to feel what they are experiencing... the next ones could be us.
