Defibrillator Training at Fama.

A training course on the use of semi-automatic defibrillators in emergency situations, as well as training in performing CPR in cases of cardiac arrest or loss of consciousness, has been conducted at Fama. As Fama currently has 2 production facilities, the number of semi-automatic defibrillators has been increased to 4, expanding also the number of staff members with knowledge, skills, and techniques to provide assistance to an accident victim or sudden illness with cardiac arrest or loss of consciousness in either of the 2 production centres. The course was delivered by trained personnel from the Red Cross, combining theory and practical cases, and it is approved by the Public Health Authority.
