800 m² dedicated to a playroom and a nursery school at Fama's facilities in Yecla (Murcia).
The company Fama Sofás, dedicated to the manufacture of sofas and with a workforce of over 280 employees, has almost 800 m² dedicated to its playroom and nursery school at its facilities in Yecla, Murcia.
In September 2015, Fama Sofás launched an ambitious project to reconcile work and family life: a nursery school in the mornings and playroom in the afternoons. This project, known as Famapekes, started with only 4 children enrolled in its morning schedule. However, it quickly became consolidated, facilitating the family reconciliation of its employees, which contributed to an increase in birth rates within the company.
The highest peaks of affluence in the kid’s space coincide with the Christmas and summer school holidays, periods in which the centre prepares to receive a larger number of children of different ages. For the start of the summer season 2024, Fama Sofás has carried out major extensions to its facilities, allowing a service in line with the growing number of enrolments, which now stands at 61childs for the summer school (4 to 12 years old) and 28 kids for the nursery centre (0 to 3 years old).
The indoor facilities include several classrooms spread over 570 m²: a main hall, a classroom for children from 0 to 1 year old, a dormitory, two playrooms, an additional hall and toilets. Outside, there are three courtyards with a total of 220 m².
With this important extension, Fama continues to demonstrate its clear commitment to work-life balance among its staff and spares no effort to have a Playroom/Children's School that includes all the amenities for the children who enjoy Famapekes.
