A perfect match
We’ve done it again. We are once again merging art and design, this time with works by Javier Mariscal, one of the most important Spanish designers of all time on a global scale. Fabrics with a selection of some of his most iconic graphic works create the Perfect Fusion with our sofa and armchair designs.

Garriris
The Garriris were born at that moment when these little mice start to appear, and they gradually disappear until only Fermin, Piquer, and Julián, who is the dog, remain. And from there, the real comics begin, with backgrounds and storylines. Then, they’re the ones who tell you, ‘I want to go to the beach,’ and you say, ‘Alright, let’s go…!’ and they end up doing whatever they want.”

Javier Mariscal
Graphic designer, illustrator, furniture designer, filmmaker, painter, sculptor—Javier Mariscal is an artist who loves challenges. An irreverent artist whose life has been guided by the word ‘freedom.’ He sketches everything he sees on any available corner. His style is impulsive and casual, and he easily moves between different techniques and media. In 1989, he opened Estudio Mariscal, the first multidisciplinary studio in Spain, before creating one of his most famous designs: Cobi, the mascot used in the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona. Mariscal won the ‘National Design Award’ in 1999, and in 2006 he became an honorary member of the Royal Design Industry.
“All colours are beautiful, and all disciplines too. In all of them the basis is drawing, so they are not opposites. I feel comfortable in all of them, and I enjoy working in all of them, without distinction.”
