Tips for cleaning wood:
Guidelines for caring for your wooden furniture
1. Avoid using abrasive products that may damage the surface.
2. For cleaning, use a soft, dry cloth to remove dust regularly.
3. To clean stubborn stains, use a cloth lightly dampened with a mild wood cleaner or diluted neutral soap.
4. If the surface to be cleaned has a grain, clean in the direction of the grain.
5. In the case of accidental stains, clean them as soon as possible to prevent them from penetrating the wood and leaving a mark.
6. Keep your furniture away from sources of moisture to prevent warping or damage.
7. Keep furniture away from heat sources.
8. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight to prevent discolouration and deterioration of the material.
Cleaning according to the type of wood:
- Lacquered wood. Clean the surface with a cloth dampened with water or with neutral soap dissolved in water. Avoid any type of blow to prevent the lacquer from coming off.
- Untreated natural wood. If it has not been treated, it is a very sensitive material. We will clean the dust with a soft cloth without any product.
- Melamines and laminates (HPL). Clean with a soft cloth dampened with soap diluted in water, then rinse and dry. Do not apply waxes or aerosols, as these will grease or scratch the surface. On the contrary, window cleaners and anti-grease products are recommended.
A few tips:
- Use cotton cloths for best results.
- Be sure to rinse after using soap so that the surface does not tarnish.
- Remember to remove excess moisture so that the wood does not swell.
All our sofas and armchairs can be totally customised. You can choose among more than 1000 different materials available in our range. Plain or patterned fabrics, synthetic or natural materials such as cotton or linen, velvets or leather, they are all available in a very wide range of colours.
You can see the different collections of materials in the FABRIC COLLECTIONS section.
The best part is that you can combine different fabrics as you like, mixing different textures, colours and patterns, to make your sofa an exclusive and unique piece.
Choose the finish that best suits your style. Within our catalogue you can choose between natural wood, melamine and our printed patterns.
Colours may vary, especially in the case of natural wood, as it is a living element, so no two pieces will ever be the same and will age differently, giving the piece personality.
