Abel is a relax armchair from the Adan and Eva family. It differs in the silhouette of the arm, which modifies the original design to lower the arm profile.
Unlike the Eva model, it does not include arm cushions. Its width is identical to the Eva model. In addition, it only needs to be separated from the wall by 5 cm.
It can be chosen with either a hidden touch button panel or the SENSAE system.

This new system activates the motors without pressing any buttons, just by bringing your hand close to one of the arms of the chair, the motor starts. We use a simple system: approaching the right hand on the outside of the arm, the recliner begins to open, separating the hand, the relax stops in that position. To close the recliner, we bring the left hand closer to the outside of the left arm.
And if anyone wonders what happens if someone approaches or a child touches the arm, we can say that everything is under control. We have designed two different control modes: with one or two hands, to prevent these situations from happening.
On the contrary, our system is based on simplicity, we use the right hand to open and the left hand to close, forgetting about pressing buttons that, in a few years, may be something from the past, like the round dial telephones.
The mobile app is available for Android and iOS devices.
But this is not all. All these movements can also be activated from a new mobile App created entirely by us. Among its functionalities, it will allow us to open the relax and close it easily from our smartphone... and much more!
The whole system is designed by Fama Sofas and we have the corresponding European Patent for its legal protection.

- If you wash any sofa covers in the washing machine, it is recommended to wash them inside-out to prevent the zip and velcro from damaging the fabric.
- We advise you to make a washing test with only one cover before washing all the covers in the washing machine (provided that the fabric allows washing).
- If the fabric allows it, dry cleaning onsite is always the best choice. You can also use a steamer, protecting it with a cotton cloth.
- For everyday care, you can use a damp cloth to remove dust and prevent accumulation.
- In the case of specific stains, the best is using a damp cloth with a little neutral soap (you can mix water with neutral soap in a spray bottle) and rub gently with circular movements on the stain. Let it dry and repeat several times until the stain disappears completely.
- If the fabric of your sofa is made of chenille, it is important to keep in mind that with time and use some marks or changes of colour may appear.
- It is very important to follow the cleaning instructions from the manufacturer of the fabric.
